Richard House
Born in Cyprus, Richard House is a novelist and artist whose work explores the fault lines between private lives and public events. He is the author of The Kills, longlisted for the Man Booker Prize and published internationally. His writing has ranged from intimate fiction to large-scale narratives of conflict, power and political disorder. He has held fellowships at MacDowell, Yaddo, and Bundanon, and his visual work with the Chicago-based collective, Haha, has been shown in museums and exhibitions in the US and Europe.
