1. Job title: Commissioning Editor

Responsible for commissioning, editing and publishing books, with particular focus on non-fiction and

in line with the organisation’s publishing plan. This role involves taking full responsibility for

overseeing titles from ideation to publication, managing data, and ensuring the production process

runs smoothly.

Qualification: 

Post-graduate degree level

Key tasks:

• Commission 10 to 12 individual titles annually

• Structurally edit titles that have been commissioned

• Write cover copy, TIs, catalogue, etc.

2. Job title: Regional Sales Manager (West)

The Regional Sales Manager (West) will manage Sales for designated territory, sales reporting, distribution, and provide support to the Sales Director. 

Qualification: 

Post-graduate degree level

Experience: 

5+ years in trade publishing

Key tasks:

• Manage Sales & Returns for designated territory, sales reporting, distribution, and marketing partnership and acquire shelf-space at retail level.
• Develop and implement regional distribution and sales strategies in conjunction with the reporting manager.
• Designated Territory: Maharashtra, Goa, Gujarat, Dadar and Nagar haveli, Daman and Diu, and M.P (Indore)
• Regular sales visit to the local and out-station distributors and retailers across the designated territory for promotions and booking orders.

The employee will work remotely and be based in Mumbai.
